During COVID-19, Renaissance Ranch’s alumni program—once thriving—was disrupted overnight. For me, this wasn’t just an operational setback; it was personal. I knew connection is the opposite of addiction, and I felt a responsibility to find a way to keep alumni connected and supported.

I searched for solutions, but nothing fit. One morning, I woke up with conviction: *if the solution didn’t exist, we’d build it.* With the help of an incredible team, we created our first alumni app. It wasn’t perfect at the start, but with improvements, it became a tool that truly helped people feel seen, connected, and supported.
When One Program Became Many
Other treatment centers soon noticed and asked if we could help them too. That’s when Team Recovery Technologies was born—not just as an app, but as a mission to help programs everywhere build thriving alumni communities.
